The National League today announced its new National League Cup competition in partnership with the Premier League. We've launched a survey to gather feedback on the new competition.
What we know so far:
There will be at least four extra games for Latics this season. All will be against PL/EFL U21 teams.
All the games, even the final, will be midweek.
National League Clubs will keep all gate receipts.
There is a £1m prize pot which will be split between the National League clubs but how it will be split is unclear.
Barnet, Solihull, Southend, Hartlepool, Eastleigh all finished in the top 16 of the National League last year but are not taking part in this competition.
