Thanks to everyone who has donated to our fundraising effort to buy half-season tickets for those unable to afford one. Due to your generosity, we raised a lot more money than we expected. The Club have also promised to donate five tickets for free.
If you know someone who can't afford to come to Boundary Park and would benefit from doing so, please email us at hello@oasf.co.uk with a brief explanation of why you are nominating them.
We also wanted to share some of the feedback we got on last season's season ticket support scheme:
"The whole experience for my father and I brought back so many memories of my younger days and going to Boundary Park with my dad. Being able to spend time with my dad and doing what we used to do when I was younger was fantastic. Seeing his face and and how this made him feel just was an experience I will cherish forever. As my dad is in his 80s, being able to spend quality time at a place that holds a special place in our hearts and lives will be a lasting memory. Once again, thank you to OASF for the experience and the opportunity you gave us."
"I just wanted to send a heartfelt email to everyone at OASF, the generous supporters who made it possible and anyone else whose involvement meant my son was able to get his first ever season ticket. As a family we can't thank you all enough, we weren't and still aren't in a financial position to purchase a season ticket; so for him to not only experience that, but also the freedom of being able to go to almost every home game without the worry of money has been such a blessing and boost in his mental health. He's spent such valuable time with his dad, met Frank, fell in love with football again, and most of all been able to reduce his medication because of how much this has helped his mental health. I don't know what next season will hold, how many, if any, games he will make but he will forever be so grateful for this season. Thank you, a million times over."
You can still donate to our JustGiving page. We will buy as many half-season tickets as we can afford to. Any leftover money will be donated to Oldham Foodbank.
